Getting to Know the Toyota Amphitheater

The Toyota Amphitheater is an 18,500 capacity outdoor venue in Wheatland, California, about 40 minutes north of Sacramento and 20 minutes south of Yuba City. Roughly 8,000 reserved seats fill the covered bowl in front of the stage, and a wide open lawn holds another 10,500 people under the sky, which is where the venue’s laid back, blanket and sunset culture lives.

Summer nights here run hot, so most shows start in the evening and the lawn cools off fast once the sun drops. The venue runs a clear bag policy, so check the bag rules before you pack, and give yourself extra time on the way in, since Forty Mile Road is the only route to the lots. If you are making a night of it, the closest hotels start about five minutes away.

This is an independent fan guide. We keep the schedule, policies, and practical tips current so you can spend your energy on the show instead of the logistics.
